He is believer in and highly familiar with the design, application, and use of strategic alliance relationship between utility, contractor, designer, and material supplier and is an innovator responsible for driving successful transformation. Mark Soetenga Prior to joining Potelco, Mark worked with Loy Clark Pipeline Company (a wholly owned subsidiary of Montana-Dakota Utilities) as regional manager in the Pacific Northwest. Earlier in his career, Mark was responsible for constructing pipeline and gas distribution systems across the Midwest, in every setting from urban center to rural geographies, with multiple contractors working through the union ranks of laborer, pipe fitter, equipment operator, and foreman, and ultimately taking leadership roles as superintendent and division manager. Mark is a highly respected executive and has served as a member and board member of multiple industry organizations including Western Energy (WEI), Distribution Contractors Associations (DCA), Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA), National Utility Contractors Associations (NUCA) among others. Mark is also recognized by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as a member of the Disaster Management Team for Electric Power Systems.
